Introductionacademic well-being refers to the individuals enjoyment of the role and experience as a self-taught student, perception of educational programs, the necessary conditions for studying, and overall satisfaction of student in the academic environment. It is associated with positive factors in school context , such as increasing educational activities, having good social relations,satisfaction with education and finally academic achievement. On the other hand, the mood of depression , anxiety , anger , educational loss and education is the consequences of academic failure. According to the researches , including effective variables on academic well-being, school connectedness and anxiety sensitivity. school connectedness is a multi-dimensional structure, but is generally defined as the extent to which students acquire, respect and support in the school environment. anxiety sensitivity is a personal tendency to understand emotions and anxiety symptoms as consequences of disasters that can be identified that in shaping social interaction,feeling of security and psychological and social development of students have an important role and academic well - being . the purpose of this study was to the mediating role of anxiety sensitivity in the relationship between connectedness with school and academic well – being.MethodThis study employed an applied objective and a correlational descriptive method. The study population consisted of all male and female middle school students in Tehran during the academic year 2024-2025. The research sample included 256 students selected through multi-stage sampling. Participants responded to questionnaires on connectedness with school (Berry et al., 2004), anxiety sensitivity (Floyd et al., 2005), and academic well-being (Tominen et al., 2012). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and Amos version 26, structural equation modeling.ResultsResults indicated a anxiety sensitivity played a mediating role between connectedness with school and academic well-being, showing a significant and negative association (p<0/01) . Additionally significant and positive relationship between connectedness with school and academic well-being (p<0/01). Finally, the model an appropriate goodness of fit.DiscussionTherefore it can be concluded that the more to connectedness with school the degree of anxiety sensitivity of students and reduce academic well-being has in important role in school context, such as increasing educational activities, feeling management, in class, having good social relations, education satisfaction and academic achievement. according to the mediating role of anxiety sensitivity in relation to connectedness with school and academic well-being, counselors apractitioners need to employ efficient therapeutic procedures for anxiety disorder and improve students academic well – being.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of schema therapy in experiential avoidance and anxiety sensitivity of students with academic procrastination at Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences.Methods: It was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The statistical population included students with academic procrastination studying at Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in the academic year 2021-2022. The first sample of the research consisted of 500 students who were selected by the multi-stage cluster sampling method. These people answered the academic procrastination questionnaire of Solomon and Roth Bloom (1984), and 152 of them who got at least one score higher than the standard deviation score were separated from Among them, 42 people who met the criteria for entering the research were selected and placed in two groups of 21 people (experimental and control group). The experimental group received schema therapy; however, the control group did not receive any intervention. Other tools of this research include. Reiss et al. (1986) Anxiety Sensitivity questionnaire, and Gamez et al.’s (1988) Multidimensional Experiential Avoidance questionnaire. the research hypotheses were tested through multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) through SPSS software (version 25).Results: The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental and the control groups in the post-test phase in terms of experiential avoidance (p <0.0001, F = 42.81) and anxiety sensitivity (p <0.037, F = 4.67). This difference was also observed in the follow-up phase.Conclusion: Therefore, according to the findings of this study, schema therapy can be used to reduce experiential avoidance and the anxiety sensitivity of students with academic procrastination.

AbstractThe aim of this study was to investigate the role of social media use, cognitive flexibility and anxiety sensitivity in predicting students' corona phobia. The present study is a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population of the study included the second high school students in Rasht in the academic year 2020-2021. In the present study, 170 students participated in the study using available sampling method. To collect data from the Fear Coronavirus 2019 Ahorsu et al. (2019); The use of social networks was used by Shi et al. (2014), cognitive flexibility Dennis & Vander Wal (2010), and anxiety sensitivity Taylor et al. (2007). The collected data were analyzed by Pearson correlation test and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the use of social networks and anxiety sensitivity had a positive and significant correlation with corona phobia (P <0.01). In contrast, there was a significant negative relationship between cognitive flexibility and coronary phobia (P <0.01). The regression results showed that the research variables could significantly predict 61% of coronary phobia changes. It is concluded that there is a direct relationship between social networks, cognitive flexibility and anxiety sensitivity with students' corona phobia. For two years have passed since the outbreak of COVID-19 and the deadly virus is still mutating, measures need to be taken to control the use of social media and increase students' mental health.Keywords: Corona phobia, Using Social Networks, Cognitive Flexibility, Anxiety Sensitivity

Transdiagnostic treatment is one of the new therapies that the effect of it on many psychological variables has been established. The purpose of the current study was to examine the effectiveness of Transdiagnostic treatment on anxiety sensitivity, distress tolerance and obsessive-compulsive symptoms in individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder. The research method was experimental (pretest, posttest with control group). In this research, 30 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder randomly assigned to experimental (6 males and 9 female) and control (6 males and 9 female) groups Anxiety Sensitivity Scale (ASI-R), the Distress Tolerance Questionnaire (DTS) and The Yale–Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS) were used for collecting the data. Transdiagnostic treatment was administered to experimental group, in 12 one-hour sessions. The data were analyzed using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The results indicated that the Transdiagnostic treatment is effective in decreasing Anxiety Sensitivity and obsessive-compulsive symptoms and increasing the Distress Tolerance. According to the results, Transdiagnostic treatment was suggested for improving the Distress Tolerance and Anxiety Sensitivity and obsessive-compulsive symptoms in individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The aim of the present study was to compare anxiety sensitivity, negative affectivity and alexhitymia in asthma patients and normal subjects in Ahvaz .The study sample consisted of 78 patients and 74 normal people. All patients were diagnosed by an allergy and asthma specialist. Psychological variables were evaluated by the ASI, TAS-20, PANAS and SCL-25. The results of this study showed that there were significant differences between the two groups in alexithymia, anxiety sensitivity and negative affectivity, but there was no significant difference between the two groups in mental health. The scores of alexithymia, anxiety sensitivity and negative affectivity in asthma patients were higher than normal people.
