چکیده
در این پژوهش، رابطه ساده و چندگانه هفت مرحله اول نظریه رشد روانی- اجتماعی اریکسون با مرحله هشتم آن -کمال در برابر نومیدی- در سالمندان استان خوزستان بررسی گردید. افراد شرکت کننده در نمونه اصلی تحقیق شامل 469 سالمند (237 زن و 232 مرد) بودند که به وسیله "مقیاس تجدیدنظر شده مراحل رشد روانی- اجتماعی اریکسون" مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. همچنین، پیش از اجرای پژوهش، از یک نمونه 50 نفری برای ارزیابی مقدماتی مقیاس مورد نظر و نیز از یک نمونه 170 نفری دیگر برای اعتباریابی همان مقیاس استفاده به عمل آمد. برای تحلیل داده‌ها، علاوه بر روشهای توصیفی، روشهای همبستگی ساده و رگرسیون چندگانه نیز به کار بسته شد. در این پژوهش، مجموعاً 24 فرضیه برای کل سالمندان و زنان و مردان سالمند به طور جداگانه مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. همه این فرضیه‌ها تأیید شدند و نشان دادند که نظریه اریکسون علاوه بر فرهنگهای غربی، در فرهنگ ما نیز کاربرد دارد.

چکیده [English]
The present research reports the relationship between the first seven stages of Erikson’s psychosocial stage development and the eighth stage ttego integrity v s. despair” of the old women and men living in the various towns of Khuzestan. Three samples consisting of 690 subjects were randomly selected for this research project:
469 subjects (237 women and 232 men) for testing the hypotheses.
171 subjects for the scale validation, and 50 suebjects for the pilot study. The hypotheses of the study maintained simple and multiple relationships between the first seven stages of Erikson’s psychosocial stage development and the eighth stage. The scale used for this study was the “Modified Erikson Psychosocial stage Inventory.” The results, Confirming The hypotheses, indicated that there are significant relationships between the first seven stages of Erikson’s psychosocial development and the eighth stage “ego integrity vs. despair.”
