IntroductionIn recent years, studies in the field of narcissism have received increasing attention from researchers, but despite the growing interest in the concept of narcissism, there are many unanswered questions, especially about the nature of this structure. The present study aimed to investigate the role of narcissistic narcissism and vulnerable narcissism in predicting self-presentation tactics in students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.MethodDescriptive research method of conventional (focal) correlation and its statistical population is all graduate students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz who were studying in 1996-97 (N = 1500). After obtaining the necessary permits from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, the questionnaires were distributed among the selected students based on multi-stage cluster random sampling method. Data were analyzed by SPSS statistical software A total of 250 students were randomly selected based on the Cochran's formula according to the size of the population, in a multi-stage cluster method. Finally, by stratified random sampling method, the sample size was selected from the target population (n = 222). Collection tools included a pathological narcissism questionnaire (Pincus et al., 2009) and a scale of self-Presentation tactics(Tedeschi & Melburg, 1984).ResultsThe results showed that the linear combination of defensive and assertive self-presentation tactics can be predicted by the linear combination of predictor variables. Significance of the whole model showed that there is a significant relationship between the two variables of self-Presentation tactics and existential expression with grandius and vulnerable narcissism (P<0.005). Predictive variables explain 28% of the variance of the criterion variables. Overall, the findings showed that the types of narcissism (grandius and vulnerable) can be predicted based on the type and extent of using different types of self-presentation tactics (defensive and assertiveness). Of the two criterion variables, self- Presentation tactics are more important in the linear criterion variable. On the other hand, in the first function, among the predictor variables, the narcissistic narcissist has the largest share in the linear composition of its category. In other words, the first function of self-Presentation tactics is predicted by grandius narcissism.ConclusionAccording to the findings of the present study, It is suggested that clinical specialists pay special attention to the types of narcissism and the self-presentation tactics of clients with narcissistic personality disorder in order to know and understand more about these people. It is better for clinical psychologists (considering the existence of two types of narcissism) in their diagnostic interviews to pay attention to the narcissism of the vulnerable type and examine its symptoms in clients who are dissatisfied with their self-esteem or have problems in interpersonal relationships.

The present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of empathy skills training on the narcissism and bullying in bullying student. It was a quasi-experimental method with pretest, posttest and control group design. The statistical population included bullying students studying in the first high school in the town of Saman, Charhar Mahal-va-Bakhtiari province in the second semester of educational year 2018-19. 40 bullying students were selected through purposeful sampling method and they were randomly accommodated into experimental and control groups (each group of 20 students). The students in the experimental group underwent eight ninety-minute sessions of empathy skills training while the students in the control group didn’t receive such interventions during the study. Illinois bullying scale (Espelage, Holt, 2001) and narcissism scale (Raskin & Terry, 1988) were used in the current study. The data from the study were analyzed through repeated measurement ANOVA via SPSS23 software. The results showed that empathy skills training has had significant effect on the narcissism (p<0.001) and bullying (p<0.001). The findings of the present study revealed that empathy skills training can be applied as an efficient method to decrease narcissism and bullying in bullying students according to the empathy skills training and with the focus on Knowledge acquisition skills, composition, application, evaluation, analysis.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between dark triad personality traits and online self-disclosure. The present research is a correlational type of study. The population of the present study includes all B.Sc students of Mohaghegh Ardabili University, among them three hundred and seventy-five students (175 female and 200 male) were selected, using proportion-stratified random sampling method. They were asked to respond to self-disclosure (attitudes, interests, study, money, personality and body) and Dark Triad Personality (Narcissism, Machiavellism and Psychopath) Questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The results of Pearson correlation showed that there were positive correlations of machiavelism with subscales of study/work, personality, body and total self-disclosure, and psychopath with subscales of body and total self-disclosure. Finally the results showed that there were positive correlations of narcissism with subscales of interest and study/work, personality, body and total self-disclosure. The results of stepwise multiple regression analyses showed that among three dark personality traits, two personality traits, narcissism and machiavellism, were predictors of online self-disclosure. According to the results of the present study, the role of two dark triad personalities, narcissism and machiavellism, on internet self-disclosure was confirmed. This result can help internet users, especially students, to discover interests and personality characteristics of individuals with high internet self-disclosure in cyber atmosphere and increase knowledge and predict exploitation of these people.
