AbstractWeak communication skills and social adjustment are secondary problems of children with ADHD, and paying attention to these problems is important for improving the social life of these children. The aim of this study was to compared the effectiveness of parent-child communication package and parent-child interaction therapy on communication and social adjustment skills of children with ADHD in a quasi-experimental design with a single-subject design. In this study, 12 measurements (4 times as baseline, 4 times during treatment and 4 times as follow-up) were performed. Of the mothers of 6 to 12 years old children with ADHD in Isfahan along with their children, 6 mothers (n=12) were selected by purposive sampling and were randomly assigned into two groups of parent-child communication and parent-child interactive therapy. Then, 11 sessions of parent-child communication package for the first group and 12 sessions of parent-child interaction therapy for the second group were administered. The research tools were the Jerabec (2004) communication skills questionnaire and the Vineland Social Adaptation Scale (1935). The results showed that parent-child communication package and parent-child interaction therapy affected the communication skills of children with ADHD, but the effects of these treatments were reduced in the follow-up period. Also, only the parent-child communication package had a lasting effect on the social adjustment of children with ADHD. Therefore, the parent-child communication package plays a more effective role in improving the communication and social adjustment skills of children with ADHD than the parent-child interaction therapy.

Humans can find personal significance through work, and so work can be considered as the foundation and center of human life. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to investigate how the proactive personality and personal and organizational spirituality of nurses can improve the perception of meaningful work and job engagement. The method of this research was descriptive-correlational type. The statistical population of the study consisted of all nurses working in Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences in 2019, which 270 of them were selected by cluster random sampling. Questionnaires of individual and organizational spirituality, proactive personality, meaning of work and job engagement were used to collect data. After confirming reliability and validity of research tool, data were analyzed using Lisrel 8.8 software and by structural equation modeling approach. Findings indicate that although individual spirituality does not enhance nurses' experiences of meaningful work, this construct, together with variables of organizational spirituality and proactive personality, can be considered as antecedents of job engagement. Finally, the evidence confirms the relative mediating role of meaning of work in the relationship between these three constructs with job engagement in the study population.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of Modular Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy on facial expression bias and fear of negative evaluation in paranoid students. The research method was quasi-experimental with pre-test-post-test with control group. The research community was composed of all students referring to the counseling center of kashmar University of Medical Sciences in the year 2017-16, who were diagnosed according to Multidimensional Clinical Questionnaire-3 and DSM-5 criteria with paranoid attribution disorder (According to statistics obtained from the center 60 people). Of these, 20 students with paranoid characteristics were selected through purposeful sampling and were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group received 16 sessions of Modular Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (HRT), Chuppita and did not receive interventional control.Multidimensional Clinical Questionnaire and Objective Fear Scale , were completed before and after the intervention by both groups. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS-22 software and inferential statistics of covariance analysis. The results of analysis of covariance showed that by eliminating the effect of pre-test scores on facial expression bias and fear of negative evaluation as a scattering variable, the main effect of Modular cognitive-behavioral therapy on facial expression bias and fear of negative evaluation in post-test is significant (P>0/05). Therefore, Modular cognitive behavioral therapy can be used as an effective method to reduce interpretation bias and fear of negative evaluation of people with paranoid traits.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of Hypomanic Activation, Demoralization and Dysfunctional Negative Emotions Based on the Minnesota multiphasic personality inventory-2-restructured form (MMPI-2RF) in anxiety, depression and sexual motivation of people with sexual dysfunction. This descriptive correlational study was performed on all persons with sexual dysfunction who referred to counseling centers and medical clinics in Mashhad for treatment of sexual problems. The sample included 336 individuals. An available sampling method was used to select the sample. Data were collected using the Minnesota multiphasic personality inventory-2-restructured form (MMPI-2RF) and the multidimensional sexual problems questionnaire (subscale of anxiety, depression and sexual motivation). Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used to investigate the research hypotheses using SPSS-22 software.Findings showed that there was a significant positive correlation between hypomanic activation, demoralization and dysfunctional negative emotions with anxiety and sexual depression and a negative significant relationship with sexual motivation (p < 0.01). In addition, it was found that hypomanic activation, demoralization and dysfunctional negative emotions explained 22% of the variance in sexual anxiety (R Square= 0.22). It was also found that 23% of the variance in sexual depression is explained by hypomanic activation and demoralization. Hypomanic activation and demoralization also account for 14% of the variance in sexual motivation. The findings of the present study indicate the role of hypomanic activation, demoralization and dysfunctional negative emotions in anxiety, depression and sexual motivation in patients with sexual dysfunction.

The aim of this study was to predict insufficient self-discipline maladaptive schema based on achievement motivation, the meaning in life, and difficulties in emotion regulation in students. The Method of present research was descriptive-correlation. The statistical population included students studying at the Islamic Azad University of Qom, of which 368 individuals were selected as the sample by random cluster sampling. Data were collected using Young, Klosko, & Weishaar (2001) Schema questionnaire, Hermans (1970) Achievement Motivation questionnaire, Steger, Frazier, Oishi, & Kaler (2006) Meaning in Life questionnaire, Gratz & Roemer (2004) Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale, and then were analyzed using multiple Regression and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results indicated a negative and significant relationship between achievement motivation, and existence of meaning and search for meaning in life subscales with insufficient self-discipline maladaptive schema (P <0.05). Also, rejection of emotional responses, difficulty in performing targeted behavior, difficulty in controlling impulse, lack of emotional awareness and limited access to emotion regulation strategies subscales had a positive and significant relationship with insufficient self-discipline maladaptive schema (p <0.05). Findings generally suggested that poor motivation to Achievement, lack of proper meaning in life, and having difficulty in regulating emotions can cause insufficient self-discipline maladaptive schema to persist in individuals.

One of the concerns of families with adolescents is the father involvement in parenting. It is important to examine the factors that are related to this concept. The aim of this study was to predict the father involvement through marital adjustment, mother-adolescent relationship quality and Father's level of education. The research method was correlational with path analysis. The study population included all families with adolescent-boys aged 13 to 15 in the city of Isfahan in 2018. The samples were selected using multi-stage cluster random sampling method. Three hundred and six people (102 families, including adolescents with parents) were administered the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire, Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS), and Parent-Child Relationship Scale (PCRS). Data were analyzed using Multiple Regression and Path analysis by SPSS and AMOS. The findings showed that the proposed model has a good-fit and all path coefficients were significant. Also, in the current path model, the mother-adolescent relationship quality plays a mediating role. In general, the Predictable variables in the model, especially the marital adjustment and the parent-adolescent relationship quality, can explain the father involvement. The results of the present study confirmed the prominent role of family interactions in the involvement and participation of fathers in parenting, and the findings could help experts in promoting family health and cohesion.
