چکیده
450 دانشجوی سال چهارم رشتههای فنی و مهندسی دانشگاههای دولتی شهر تهران که با روش نمونهگیری طبقهای تصادفی برای نمونه تحقیق انتخاب شده بودند، به پرسشنامه وضعیتهای هویت شغلی دیلاس (1981) و پرسشنامه عینی ترس از موفقیت زوکرمن و آلیسون (1976) پاسخ دادند. نتایج به دست آمده از پژوهش نشان داد که بین جنس و وضعیتهای هویت شغلی رابطه معنیداری وجود ندارد. همچنین نتایج تحلیل واریانس نشان دهنده معنیدار نبودن تعامل بین وضعیتهای هویت شغلی و جنس در ترس از موفقیت بود. از سوی دیگر، بررسی تفاوتهای جنسی در ترس از موفقیت نیز تفاوت معنیداری را نشان نداد. اما اثر اصلی وضعیتهای هویت شغلی بر ترس از موفقیت معنیدار بود، به این معنی که دانشجویان دارای وضعیتهای هویت شغلی موفق، ترس از موفقیت پایینتر و دانشجویان دارای وضعیتهای هویت شغلی مغشوش و نامتمایز ترس از موفقیت بالاتری را نشان دادند. در پایان کاربردهایی برای دانشجویان، والدین، برنامهریزان وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری و دست اندرکاران امور زنان ارائه گردیده است.

چکیده [English]
450 senior university students (225 women, 225 men) in the field of engineeing were randomly selected from the Public Universities in Tehran. They completed two measures: Dellas Identity Status Inventory- occupation (DISI-O), and Fear of Success Scale (FOSS) by Zuckerman & Allison (1976). A chi square test showed no significant relationship between occupational identity statuses and sex. A two-way analysis of variance showed no inetraction effect of occupational identity statuses and sex on fear of success. Although there was no main effect of sex on fear of success, there was a main effect of occupational identity on fear of success. As predicted, students classified as achievers showed the highest scores on fear of
• success. The implications of these findings are discussed as they relate to the men and women personal and career development.
