چکیده

برای بررسی رابطه سن و جنسیت با مفاهیم نگهداری ذهنی عدد، توده و حجم، چند فرضیه تدوین گردید. فرضیه های اصلی تحقیق عبارت از این بودند که (۱) همراه با بالا رفتن سن، بر توانایی نگهداری ذهنی افزوده می‌شود. (۲) از لحاظ فرآیند رشد، در کودکان ابتدا نگهداری ذهنی عدد آشکار می شود و پس از آن به ترتیب نگهداری های ذهنی توده و حجم. و (۳) بین عملکرد پسران و دختران از حیث نگهداری ذهنی، تفاوتی وجود ندارد. برای آزمایش فرضیه ها، نمونه‌ ای تصادفی متشکل از ۱۸۰ آزمودنی-مشتمل بر گروه های ۶/۵، ۸/۵ و ۱۰/۵ ساله از پایه های اول، سوم و پنجم- از دبستان‌های پسرانه و دخترانه اهواز برگزیده شد. آنگاه، هر سه گروه آزمودنی، بر اساس شیوه مصاحبه بالینی پیاژه، به وسیله آزمون های نگهداری ذهنی عدد، توده و حجم مورد آزمایش قرار گرفتند. نتایج به دست آمده از تحلیل واریانس داده ها، فرضیه های اول و دوم تحقیق را تایید کردند، لیکن یافته ها در خصوص تفاوت عملکرد پسران و دختران از نظر نگهداری ذهنی، با فرضیه سوم مغایرت داشتند. یافته ها به طور کلی بر برتری عملکرد پسران نسبت به عملکرد دختران دلالت داشتند.

چکیده English

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship of age and sex with conservation of number, mass and volume. It was hypothesized that: (1) the older pupils are more able than younger ones regarding the conversation concepts; (2) that children develop conversation of number, mass and volume successively; and (3) there is no significant difference between boy and girl subjects regarding the three conversation concepts. The sample consisted of 180 first. Third and fifth grade a school pupils of the city of Ahvaz who were selected randomly and equally from 6.5 and 10.5 year old populations. Analysis of variance was used as the the statistical method to test the hypotheses. The results supported the first two hypotheses, but the third hypothesis was rejected. It was found that boy subjects preformed significantly better than girls with respect to conservation concepts.
